Arcitell, an American manufacturer of residential siding products, has announced today its innovative alternative to traditional claddings is coming to North America. Qora, a lightweight fiber-reinforced polymer panel that authentically replicates traditional brick, stone and wood siding, is a new technology that integrates the latest in material science and product design to simplify the building process, deliver outstanding looks and performance, and provide an answer to the construction industry’s ongoing labor concerns. The revolutionary Qora will be available in the Southeastern US and Texas, delivering a first-of-its-kind solution to the market.
Qora was born from the belief that Arcitell could produce a cladding product without trade-offs — and our persistence to not stop until that material existed. By creating this joint effort between Canton, Ohio-based Belcap, Inc., a member of the Belden family of holdings, and Milan, Italy-based Acell Industries, we plan to do just that,” says Jeff Adams, President, and CEO.
Qora offers unmatched simplicity and workability for builders seeking an easier way to meet consumer demand for home elevations like brick, stone, and cedar. The faces of Qora cladding use a proprietary process and employ the same oxide pigments, powders and ingredients to make clay brick, manufactured stone, and engineered cedar shingles. This is what gives Qora its indistinguishable aesthetic when compared to traditional source materials.
“Today’s builders and contractors need a product that simplifies the construction process without sacrificing beauty, performance or anything else their customers demand in a cladding product. Qora cladding delivers on each of those points,” says Ben Skoog, Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Meet Qora during the International Builders Show in Las Vegas on February 19-21, 2019.
